GOPAL SHETTY ( MP) DISTRIBUTES GAS STOVES TO WOMEN
IN DASHISAR
Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Minister of Education Vinod Tawde, Minister of State for Women and Child Development Vidya Thakur, MLA Ashish Shelar, MLA Atul Bhatkalkar, Ram Barot, Asavari Patil, Shailaja Girkar and many other eminent politicians graced the event.
It is a known fact that Gopal Shetty, MP has undertaken the pledge of freeing North Mumbai women from using wooden gas and kerosene stoves. In this regard, he has distributed 3500 gas stoves to needy women in Kandivali West as part of the first phase of the campaign, 1500 gas stoves to women in Damu Nagar, Kandivali East as part of the second phase, 800 gas stoves to women in Malad East as part of phase three and 1000 gas stoves to women in Malwani as part of the fourth phase. Now, the fifth phase sees MP Gopal Shetty supporting the underprivileged women from Dahisar.
Along with this initiative, MP Gopal Shetty also distributed food grains to 100 differently-abled children from an NGO based in Malad and 250 differently-abled kids from Borivali Gorai, Isai Machinery Shanti Dhaam.
The Honourable Chief Minister of Mahashtra, Devendra Fadnavis lauded MP Gopal Shetty's initiatve and encouraged him to do more service for the underprivileged.
Soon Gopal Shetty will be targeting areas like Poisar, Gorai, Madh and Laljipada for the distribution of gas stoves to needy women in the next phase of their campaign. (Naarad)
